This provides an opportunity for people to share the pleasure of their craft or hobby with everyone. The pride of creating or growing something and then submitting it for competition is worthy of celebration regardless of whether the entry wins an award. The individual entry serves to increase a participant’s skill level and heighten the appreciation and interest of the general public. Anyone can enter. This will all be housed in the Activity Hall.
Open Class, Flowers and the Grange Premium Book and Entry Form will be available Jan. 1, 2017.
One misconception about 4-H is that it is a “rural” program that is only available and appropriate for farm kids. Nothing could be further from the truth! 4-H is everywhere in King County. Come to the King County Fair and see 4-H demonstrations, contests, learn about 4-H, 4-H members and their projects. 4-H occupies most of our facilities during the Fair. With 7 facilities packed to the walls, we are sure you will find something to enjoy.
